I used to think support response times were decent...
With the current rash of RMT spammers, I decided to enjoy reporting them as I saw them. I reported 7 of them within a few days time, simply when I saw them while playing the game normally.
Monday evening apparently they decided to suspend my account. The reason for the suspension on the pop up was:
"Your Guild Wars account has been suspended for advertising an inappropriate website. You will be able to join the game in approximately 60 hours. (Code=045)"
So I found out I was suspended 12 hours into the punishment. I then immediately sent in a support ticket telling them that they incorrectly suspended my account instead of the people that I reported. 18.5 hours later I received a response that they have escalated the issue.
By the time they finally get around to it, I will have served 2/3rds of the suspension already. (33 hours left as I post already.) I take back everything I have ever said about support response times being acceptable in any of my past posts.
Thank you. That is all.
Update:
18.5 hours to get escalation to senior support.
12 hours to get response from LemonCobra that the suspension is correct.
2 hours spent telling LemonCobra that he can't tell the difference between MY character and the one that was reported for spamming. Even with a screenshot.
1 hour and counting after being told "After reviewing the issue, it appears that your account was blocked in error. Your account is now released and you should be able to log in to Guild Wars. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused." Still unable to log in...
Insult to injury. One of the login announcements today?

Reporting In-Game Misbehavior
You can report offensive chat, unacceptable names, or game misbehavior by using the /report system. Either select the player and type /report or type /report followed by the player's name, click enter, and choose a reason for your report. Most issues are reviewed and resolved within a few hours. For issues outside your district, please submit a support ticket.

It forgets to mention that should you decide to assist in the reporting of misbehavior, you run the risk of them suspending YOUR account in error and then even when they acknowledge that they screwed up they fail to remove the suspension even though they say they are going to.
Final update: My account is finally released from the failsuspension. Too bad that I had to serve more than 2/3rds of the suspension before they were able to return my account to me. Yay for support. That was terrible.
